Here's a quick round up of what was in my Taffy Mail box:

Uncle Rays Kosher Dill Flavored Chips: The star product is a large bag of Uncle Ray's potato chips. Dill is an unusual crisp flavour here in the UK so I was excited to give these a try. The crisps themselves have a thick and crunchy texture. They're deliciously salty with a perfectly matched and strong dill flavour. I absolutely loved these and it's made me keen to try to track down more dill flavoured snacks!

Jolly Rancher Hard Candy: A large bag of Jolly Racher hard candy in classic American flavours - Grape, Watermelon,  Cherry, and Blue Raspberry. I'm not usually one for hard candies but these are really fun to try. The flavours are all fruity and strong, especially the Grape which is very overpowering. My favourite was the Blue Raspberry which is just like a blue Slush Puppy drink in a candy.

Sour Patch Watermelon & Airheads Xtremes Watermelon: Another popular American flavour that we don't seem to get as much here (especially in sweets) is watermelon. Why is it so ubiquitous in America? Anyway, these are both large sized products and have the same bright green and pink colours. The AirHeads packet has 8 long candy strips so it's perfect for sharing. We all enjoyed the sweet and sour fruity flavours here.

Reese's Peanut Butter Topping: This is exactly the type of American foodie product that I buy if I spot it anywhere. It's a peanut butter flavoured topping that can be used for ice cream but I can think of a million other uses too. 

100 Grand & Oh Henry: I also received two full sized candy bars in the Taffy Mail. These are both American classics and I've enjoyed them both in the past. 

Mrs Freshley's Dreamies: These creme filled cakes are basically fake Twinkies! I'm not complaining though, since Twinkies are now available in most poundshops, it's actually more interesting to try this harder to find brand.

Duff Energy Drink: This is such a fun looking product and was probably the one that got the most reaction when we were opening the box. It's an orange flavoured energy drink but the real selling point is that this looks just like Homer's favourite drink.

Snyder's Pretzel Pieces: I'm already a fan of Snyder's Pretzel pieces, especially their delicious Jalapeno flavour. This Hot Buffalo Wing variety is just as delicious and was also packed full of spicy flavour.

Starburst Sweet Heat & Sweetart: These Starburst are all fruity flavours with a spicy kick! The full list of flavours is certainly unique; Fiery Watermelon, Flamin' Orange, Strawberry Mango and Pipin' Pineapple. The Sweetarts are chewy sour flavoured sweets in cute pastel colours.

Mallo Cup & Yum Yum Candy Cones: There were also lots of smaller items in the Taffy Mail. These are both cute additions. The Boyer Mallo Cup are chocolate cups are filled with a whipped creme center. The Yum Yum Cones were very hard to photograph but they're really cute - little wafer ice cream cones filled with a soft candy.

Junior Mints & Nerds: A couple of mini sized products too. The Junior Mints are creamy mints in milk chocolate - I've always wanted to try these! Also a little pack of Nerds in a great Lemonade Wild Cherry flavour.

Pop Rocks & Kool-Aid: Finally there were also two little sachets in the Taffy Mail - a Pop Rocks popping candy in strawberry flavour and a Kool-Aid drink mix in strawberry kiwi flavour.

This Taffy Mail really did have an amazing selection. There were 18 products in total which would be similar to the Taffy Mail Extra category. I was sent a general box but I know that the most recent Taffy Mail for subscribers had lots of fun Easter products. It's well worth keeping in mind as a gift for the foodie in your life.

Here's a quick round up of all the products I received in the latest Degustabox:

Primrose's Kitchen: The Degustabox Product of the Month is this intriguing Raw Beetroot & Ginger Muesli from Primrose's Kitchen. It's a very unique and pretty looking product. The flavour combination is also interesting and not one that I've encountered before in a muesli.The muesli is vegan and gluten free, with wholefood ingredients. The zingy flavours didn't really work for me but they certainly provide a punchy wake up call first thing in the morning!

True Nopal Cactus Water: Carrying on the healthy theme is this 100% natural, gluten free and vegan drink made with prickly pear cactus puree. It's a very refreshing drink with a subtle flavour and a delicate sweetness. The flavour is hard to describe but it's very light and similar to an aloe vera drink.

Indie Bay Snacks: Another vegan friendly product, these Sunflower Pretzel Bites have been made with ingredients such as Spelt and Quinoa for a healthier snack. They are also a source of fibre and protein. I really enjoyed these little pretzel bites. The flavour is deceptively simple, lightly salty, but the overall snack is very moreish and delicious.

The Protein Ball Co.: Two packs of Cherry + Almond high protein balls made using raw pitted dates, almonds, free-range egg white protein, juicy sultanas and sour cherries. I had high hopes for the cherry and almond combination and I wasn't disappointed. It has all of the delicious cherry bakewell type flavour I was hoping for alongside a great fudgey texture. There are six little balls in each pack but they're very sweet so I could only eat a couple at a time.

Emily's Fruit Crisps: These crunchy banana chips are gluten free and suitable for vegans and are made with no added sugar. These are super sweet and have a deliciously creamy and strong banana flavour.

Haribo Fruitilicious: Two large bags of fun fruit shaped Haribo made with 30% less sugar. I would never guess that these are made with less sugar as the flavour is exactly the same as you would expect from Haribo. I enjoyed all the different fruity flavour and the little smiley faces on each one are super fun.

Tootsie Roll Midgees: I've never tried Tootsie Rolls before so I was very curious to give these a try. These small individually wrapped candies have a chewy texture and milky, chocolatey flavour. It's a bit like a chocolate milkshake crossed with a toffee.

Kit Kat Chunky New York Cheesecake: Another chocolate that I hadn't got around to trying before. This Kit Kat Chunky New York Cheesecake flavour features a large creamy layer on top of the usual layers of wafer. It's not exactly cheesecakey but it does have a enjoyable vanilla flavour.

I really enjoyed the overall selection in this months Degustabox - there were lots of delicious snacks with something for every taste. Explore Cuisine Organic Edamame & Mung Bean Fettuccine: It's nice to see a few 'healthier' products included in the January Degustabox. The Edamame & Mung Bean Fettuccine combines plant based protein and fibre with the lowest level of carbohydrates. The flavour is great too and works perfectly with a fresh homemade tomato sauce.

Miso Tasty Spicy Ramen Noodle Kit: My eldest son always calls first dibs on any noodle products that are included in the Degustabox. This one has a lightly spicy flavour and was easy to make for a quick lunch. It comes with a miso soup base plus a seaweed garnish.

Pulsin: I was highly impressed with the Pulsin Fruity Oat Bar in a previous Degustabox - (see Degustabox October Review) so I was pleased to find a couple more products to try this month. These are both from the Pulsin protein range - a Complete Protein Powder Natural Vanilla Flavour and a Vanilla Choc Chic Protein Booster. I gave these both to my husband to try after one of his runs and he enjoyed them both but especially the protein powder. The Vanilla Choc Chip Protein Booster bar is quite small in size but it's a very dense and filling bar with a fudgey and slightly gritty texture.

Latin American Kitchen: Two useful products from the Santa Maria Latin American Kitchen range - a Chipotle Mayo Topping and a Columbian Crunchy Chick Bites Coating. These are both great! I had lots of fun making some delicious wraps with my kids during half term and they both loved them especially the crunchy chicken bites.

Jordans Frusli Juicy Red Berries: Two cereal bars made with wholegrain oats and lots of cranberries and raisins. These bars have a sweet berry flavour and lightly chewy texture. I much prefer them to heavier nuts and seeds type bars.

LighterLife Fast Ready to Drink Shakes: Two shakes from the LighterLife range that is exclusively available at Superdrug - a Vanilla Velvet and a Strawberry Passion Flavour. These have been created for the 5:2 fast diet as a meal replacement.

Clipper Everyday Organic Tea: I'm quite fussy about my tea as I enjoy it very strong but luckily this tea had a lovely full bodied flavour. It's good to know too that this Clipper Everyday Organic is made with the highest quality natural ingredients and comes in unbleached teabags.

Hershey's Cookies n' Creme: I've never been a fan of Hershey's chocolate but my one big exception is the Cookies 'n' Creme bar which is just delicious.This super sweet and crunchy classic is now available in this pack of five individual mini bars.

Mallow & Marsh: I've reviewed this brand before and their Coconut Marshmallow Bar is one of my favourites (the Raspberry one is excellent too). It's simply a squidgey, coconutty delight.

Wild Planet Tuna: This brand is ranked #1 in the US by Greenpeace for sustainability as it's 100% pole & line caught. It's also canned without any water or oil added. The tuna itself is much paler in colour than the tinned tuna I'm used to and has a meatier and less 'fishy' flavour. It's without doubt the best tinned tuna I've tried and I'll definitely be looking out for this brand in the future.

Robinsons Fruit Cordial: A range of more sophisticated squashes (in glass bottles) from Robinsons. There are three flavours available but I was glad to receive the Raspberry, Rhubarb & Orange Blossom in my Degustabox. The combination of raspberry and rhubarb is really unusual but both flavours come through strongly and create a lovely grown up drink.

Overall I was pleased with the wide selection of different products in the January Degustabox - there were plenty of useful groceries for my family. This month, I was especially pleased with the Wild Planet Tuna, Robinsons Fruit Cordial and the Latin American Kitchen products. Here's a quick round up of all the products I received in the latest Degustabox:

Candy Kittens Gourmet Sweets: This range is made with all natural colours and flavours. These Sour Watermelon sweets are also gluten free. I'm not usually a fan of watermelon flavoured sweets, especially those from the US, as it's usually a very fake tasting flavour. However, these couldn't be more different; the flavour is fruity, natural and just delicious. 

Popchips Galactic Puffs: It was so awesome to find these Star Wars themed Popchips in the same week that the Last Jedi came out in the UK. Great timing Degustabox!

Ryvita Rye Cakes: Made with wholegrain rye, these are naturally high in fibre and low in fat. I'm a fan of rice cakes as a quick snack so I'm looking forward to trying out this rye version this month.

San Miguel 0.0%: An alcohol free premium Spanish beer from San Miguel. This is a great addition to the Degustabox for anyone wanting to cut back and have a 'dry January'. 

Coldpress: A small bottle of Coldpress Valencia Orange Juice. As the name would suggest these juices are made using cold pressure rather than the usual heat pasteurisation process which can damage many of the vitamins in juice. 

Sleep Well: A vanilla milk drink that contains honey and Valerian - a herb that is often used to help people relax and sleep. The ingredients list is reassuringly short and contains just Jersey Whole Milk, Honey, Valerian and Vanilla Flavour.

Planters Nut-rition: Two packs of protein and energy packed nuts. The Energy Mix contains Chocolate Covered Honeycomb, Brazil Nuts, Walnuts and Peanuts. The Protein Mix has a nutty combination of Peanuts, Redskin Peanuts, Cashew Nuts and Almonds.

Taking The Pea: I've tried this deliciously moreish pea snack in a previous Degustabox and loved them. The peas have a crunchy texture with a naturally sweet background flavour. The smoked ham flavouring is salty and  meaty - it perfectly pairs with the pea flavour, creating a delicious sweet and salty snack.

Robinsons Fruit Creations: A range of more 'grown up' flavours of squash. They contain twice the amount of fruit and come in various flavours such as Apple & Elderflower or Mandarin & Lime. I was pleased to receive a full size bottle of the Apple & Elderflower flavour as I always enjoy that combination. It has no added sugar but still packs a lovely crisp and sweet flavour.

Mary Berry Vinaigrette: A gorgeous Lemon & Mustard Seed Vinaigrette that is extremely versatile. The zesty flavour is delicious on potato or pasta salads and even over smoked salmon.

Willie's Cacoa Black Pearls: An extra special addition to the Degustabox is this gorgeous box of Willie's Cacoa single estate chocolate (a 70 dark chocolate from Chulucanas) filled with a sea salted caramel. These are 100% natural and batch made from the best raw materials. As a surprise treat the Degustabox also included two beautiful large maps which show the chocolates' journey.

Degustabox bag: I loved this extra gift in the Degustabox - a fab (and useful!) tote bag with the distinctive Degustabox logo and images. It's my new favourite grocery bag!

Overall, I was delighted with the fabulous selection in this months Degustabox. It's always difficult to choose favourites from such a packed box but this month I was especially pleased with the Candy Kittens Gourmet Sweet, Popchips Galactic Puffs and Robinsons Fruit Creations.
