Radox Coconut Kiss Shower Gel

A very quick review here. I'm a complete coconut addict so I couldn't resist posting this find. There are lots of coconut scented shower gels on the market and many of them are very good. This new Coconut Kiss shower gel by Radox is an excellent choice as a budget buy. Even though it's one of the cheaper brands of shower gel the coconut scent is intense and sweet. The shower gel has a very rich lather too and left my skin feeling soft and moisturised.

I bought this for £1 from a local pharmacy but it is also available in Sainsbury's for £1.90. There are two other varieties available in this new range; Cherry Blast and Berry Blast.

I like the striking packaging on this range. The black accents really make the images and lettering pop. What's your favourite shower gel, any recommendations for coconut scented buys?

  2. These sound great.

I'm a huge fan of "Original Source" bath products... I wish they'd release a Coconut scented one!

    1. That's a fab idea, I love Original Source too. They do have an Almond & Coconut shampoo range but it only smells of almond!

  3. I've been an Avon rep for 8 years and they've had several coconut products over the years but discontinued most :( They used to do a Banana & Coconut Room & Linen Spray and a Coconut & Papaya body range but aas no more! There is however still there perfume which is called Tahitian Holiday - which is very coconutty/tropical smelling, it's lovely. There is also a Tahitian holiday body mist in the range, both very good prices too!

I also recall a while back buying a tub of Coconut Body Butter at my local Davies chemist for a £1 !!!!

    1. Hi Joanne,
Great to read your comment. I LOVE Avon! I always have a bottle of Tahitian Holiday, it's one of my favourites and great value too. I've read that Avon's Far Away Exotic also has coconut and vanilla notes, do you know if this is true? Apparently it smells a bit like Miami Glow, I may have to give it a try if that is the case!

Thanks for all the recommendations :)

    2. Oh yes! That one slipped my mind! It is very nice yes, smells as it is described perfectly by a customer in the brochure 'The scent opens with beautiful coconut/exotic fruit top notes, then dries into a softly floral, creamy musk/warm vanilla scent that stays throughout the day and makes you smell delicious'

I certainly prefer this one to the original Far Away :)

Were all coconut nuts on here it seems! lol

    4. Little insider tip for you! If you're planning to order it online, hang on until 5 December when the new brochure is in place on the website - it's going in the new book for £5.99 instead of £13! If you have a book delivered to you then it's in brochure 1 (cream glittery front cover with Alesha Dixon
      on) x

Yay for the coconut nuts! hehe

    6. I love Miami Glow but it is so hard to get hold of. I am still loving the Gwen Stefani one that Katherine recommended but I might have to give this Avon one a go too. Thanks for the recommendation and thank you Joanne for the tip :)

  5. I love coconut too. You can get a range of coconut products from The Body Shop but I find them a bit on the expensive side. Hopefully I'll get a set for Xmas! Thanks for the recommendations x
