Food News: New Magnum Pink & Magnum Black

Magnum have unveiled two new flavours for 2015 - the Magnum Pink and Magnum Black. I couldn't resist sharing this news already even though I haven't spotted these instore yet. If you're the first to see them instore then please leave a comment below.

UPDATE!: Lucy W. emailed me to say she found them listed on the Tesco groceries website for £2.00p - HERE. Thanks Lucy, I know where I'm heading tomorrow!

Here's a description of both flavours from the press release:

The Magnum Black contains intense black espresso swirled through a smooth vanilla flavour ice cream, covered in cracking dark Magnum chocolate. For when you are feeling more refined, Magnum Black reflects the sophisticated aspects of your personality.

The Magnum Pink combines delicate raspberry flavoured ice cream and sauce, and coated in cracking Magnum chocolate with premium, perlescent pink coating. Magnum Pink reflects your fun, cheeky and exuberant side, helping you express your playful persona.

Magnum Pink and Magnum Black: two contrasting, sophisticated and stylish ice creams that reflect the different sides to out personalities. Different ice creams, for different moments.

What do you think of these new flavours from Magnum? Personally, I can't wait to try the Magnum Pink!

    1. It really does! I've got a thing for raspberry at the moment so I'm looking forward to it.

  2. I like Magnum - decent quality product - not too overpriced.

But not really excited about these. I am not a coffee fan so a not a fan of the black.

The pink ones is a bit weird, raspberry good, but the outer chocolate will probably be too sweet

    1. That's a good description of the Magnum range - the chocolate always tastes good quality for the price.

I'm hoping the raspberry one is quite fruity and not as sweet as the white chocolate Magnums (not really a fan of those).

  3. I'm definitely really excited to try the pink one - I love raspberry ice cream so hopefully will be delicious!! I'm glad the coffee one is swirls of coffee sauce as well rather than full coffee ice cream as think with the dark chocolate it could have been too bitter otherwise.

    1. I've really got high hopes for the pink one! I hope they do a mini version of it at some point too.

That's a good point about the black one. I wasn't really that keen on the idea of it but I agree that the coffee flavour being in the ice cream itself rather than the dark chocolate, does make it more appealing.

  5. Both sound lovely, but I certainly have to try the dark variety. I love dark chocolate.
