Review: Lucozade The Brazilian Mango Mandarin

Thank you to the reader who left a comment asking me to review the latest Limited Edition Lucozade. Here it is! This Lucozade The Brazilian has been timely released to coincide with the upcoming World Cup in Brazil this year. It's predictably described on the bottle as being "like a carnival in your mouth" and having "the spirit of Rio in the palm of your hand". In reality it's an interesting combination of mango and mandarin, with some added pineapple and passion fruit in there too.

I  like the design of the bottle, the vibrant colours used do suit the Brazilian theme. The drink itself is the usual Lucozade base of glucose, with some added fruit juices and natural flavours. The mango juice only makes up 0.5% of the drink but somehow it's still the dominant flavour here, followed by the sweet citrus notes of the mandarin. I loved the overall tropical flavour here, it's a lovely refreshing and fruity mix which is immediately invigorating. If you're a fan of tropical flavoured drinks then you really can't go wrong with this one!
