New Instore: Müller Light Crumble Inspired Yogurts, Gingerbread Teacakes & More

Hello everyone, I'm back! I haven't been blogging as regularly in recent months but that's all changing from today. I've been inspired by some great new finds and have lots of exciting reviews lined up. I thought I would start with the basics so here's a round up of some of the new products that I've spotted instore.

Müller Light Crumble Inspsired Yogurts (above): I spotted a multipack with two flavours; Rhubarb Crumble & Custard Flavour Yogurt and an Apple Crumble & Custard Flavour Yogurt. A must for anyone following a Slimming World diet plan. Spotted At: Iceland - £2.50p.

McCain Nacho Cheese Ridged Wedges: I also found these celebratory looking new Nacho Cheese Flavour Ridged Wedges from McCain. There is also a Paprika flavour available in this new 'Ridged Wedge' format. Review coming soon! Spotted At: Iceland - £1.00p.

Walkers Sarnie Crisps Multipacks: For some reason I was struggling to find the new Sarnie flavours from Walkers in a multipack format. The first place I found them was Iceland but I've since seen the packs in Sainsbury's (for £1.00p each multipack) and Tesco (for £1.50p each). Check back later for a full review of all the flavours. Spotted At: Iceland - £1.00p.

Co-Op Portuguese Custard Tarts: I'm not sure if this is new or not but my local Co-Op has started selling Pasteis de Nata, commonly known here as Portuguese Custard Tarts. I'm not sure if open baskets are quite the right place to display these but I thought it was an interesting new bakery item. Let me know if you've tried them! Spotted At: Co-Op - £0.69p each.

Mince Pies: These are definitely not new but mince pies being sold in early September (I took this photo on the 3rd) is just ridiculous in my opinion - especially when their best before date is October 19th! It's not that I don't like to buy mince pies early, but by "early", I mean from mid-November onwards. We haven't even had Halloween or Bonfire Night yet people - let's not skip over autumn altogether! Rant over. Spotted At: Co-Op and every other supermarket in the UK - £1.00p.

M&S Beetroot & Goats Cheese Batard: Apologies for the blurry photo but I had to take it whilst pretending to browse on my phone - there were so many people hovering nearby for the free samples. Anyway, this distinctive pink bread (yes it's a bright pink loaf) looks like it was dreamed up by a contestant on the Great British Bake Off. Spotted At: Marks & Spencer - £2.70p.

M&S Orange & Crimson Raisin Boule: I don't think I've ever heard of a Crimson Raisin before but I'm assuming it's a reddish raisin? Anyway, I did try a sample of this bread and it had a pleasingly sweet orange flavour.  Spotted At: Marks & Spencer - £2.70p.

M&S Gingerbread Teacakes: I'm a fan of both gingerbread and teacakes so combining the two seems like a winner to me. Were these available last year? If you've tried them then let me know in the comments below. Spotted At: Marks & Spencer- £1.00p for 2.

As always, if you spot anything new instore and fancy sending me a photo then let me know via email: grocerygems@gmail.com or Twitter: @grocerygems.

New Instore: Galaxy Golden Eggs, Kinder Joy UK release and more!

New products spotted instore:

Galaxy Golden Eggs: There are plenty of new Easter chocolate instores at the moment but the most exciting are the new and shiny Galaxy Golden Eggs. They're covered in a gold coloured dust and, from the pictures I've seen, they look really impressive. I'll have a review soon. £1.00p at Co-Op.

Kinder Joy (new UK release): These might look the same as Kinder Surprise eggs but they're actually quite different. I reviewed the German Kinder Joy version a couple of years ago after I was sent it in a Candy German subscription box. It's great to see them finally released in the UK! Check back later today for a review and photos. £1.00p at Co-Op.

Cadbury Eggciting Layers of Joy Egg: I've been on the look out for these ever since I saw instagram photos from Amy Seeks New Treats. The fondant 'egg' on the top of the dessert just looks so realistic! It's certainly more impressive than the original Cadbury Creme Egg Pots of Joy (which surprisingly are also available this Easter). I might get these for the kids nearer to Easter. £1.00p at Co-Op (twinpack).

Tesco Frozen Avocado: On a healthier note, I noticed quite a few interesting new frozen products at Tesco this week. These frozen avocado halves would be useful for smoothies. There were about six in each pack from what I could see. £2.50p at Tesco.

Tesco Healthy Living Lime Coriander Rice & Quinoa Mix: There were also lots of frozen products available in the Tesco Healthy Living range such as this Lime Coriander Rice & Quinoa Mix. I also spotted an Indian Style Superfood Mix, a Mexican Whole Food Mix and a Lemon & Coriander Quinoa mix. Each bag is only £1.50p so I'm sure I'll try these out at some point. £1.50p at Tesco.

Müller Corner Florida Inspired: Many thanks to Lucy who sent me a few of her recent finds too, including the new Müller Light Peanut & Caramel flavour and also one that I haven't seen yet, the Müller Corner Florida Inspired yogurt. The latter is a lemon flavoured yogurt with a pineapple and pink grapefruit compote. Both found at Asda.

Good4U Super Bites: Lucy also spotted this new range of healthy treats at Asda in two flavours; Coconut or Cocoa & Orange. There is also a Banana & Cocoa flavour in this range too. Let me know if you've tried these! 2 for £1.50p at Asda.

Many thanks again to Lucy for the last two photos. As always if you've spotted any new products instore then I'd love to hear from you - email grocerygems@gmail.com or tweet me @grocerygems.

New Instore: Müller Light Peanut & Caramel, Mr Kipling Oat Slices & More

A round up of new products spotted instore.

Müller Light Peanut & Caramel Flavour: I finally managed to track down the latest limited edition flavour from Müller. Thank you to everyone who left comments letting me know that these had been spotted in Sainsbury's and Iceland. £0.70p at Sainsbury's.

Mr Kipling Dark Chocolate & Coconut Oat Slices: These look good! I like the idea of the combination of dark chocolate with coconut on an oaty base. £1.00p at Sainsbury's.

Yeo Valley Winter Sun Yogurt: This limited edition flavour is a sunny combination of Mango, Passion fruit and Pineapple to 'brighten up the winter months'. £1.00p at Sainsbury's.

Innocent Smoothie for Kids Fruit & Veg: My kids are big fans of Innocent Smoothies so I was pleased to spot a new Fruit & Veg flavour in the range which contains Pineapples, Apples & Carrots. I'll be interested to see what the kids think of this flavour - review to follow! £1.49p (half-price offer across the range) at Sainsbury's.

Innocent Light & Juicy: I also spotted this Light & Juicy range which I don't think I've seen before. There were two flavours; Pineapple & Lime and also Peach & Raspberry. £1.25p (half price offer) at Sainsbury's.

M&S Hello Kitty Easter Egg: This is almost identical to the Hello Kitty Easter egg that Marks & Spencer's have produced in previous years, just even more PINK. £7.00p at M&S.

Image: Tesco
Fibre One Lemon Drizzle Squares: I reviewed Fibre One Brownies from Canada in the early days of my blog. The brand is now available in the UK at Tesco in two flavours; Lemon Drizzle Squares and Chocolate Fudge Brownie. £2.89p at Tesco.

As always if you've spotted any new products instore then I'd love to hear from you - email grocerygems@gmail.com or tweet me @grocerygems.

New Instore: Cadbury Rudoph & Robin Cakes & More.

Cadbury Rudolph & Robin Cakes: The Cadbury Christmas range that I've seen so far seems fairly similar to previous years. These Rudolph & Robin Cakes have a cute design and are described as a chocolate flavoured sponge layered with white chocolate creme, covered in milk chocolate and finished with white chocolate decoration and a light sweet dusting. £1.00p at Co-Op.
Image: Cadbury
Cadbury Festive Cake Selection: The Rudolph cakes also seem to feature in this new Festive Cake Selection Leave One for Santa. There are ten cakes in each box, including one with Santa's name for Christmas Eve! £3.00p at Morrisons.

Kellogg's Coco Pops Seasons Greetings Box: Staying on the Christmas theme, look out for the new festively decorated boxes from Kellogg's. So far I've spotted three different ones. £2.00p at Sainsbury's.

Kellogg's Rice Krispies Seasons Greetings Box: This box is just the cutest and I've already picked up a box. Even though my kids are not really keen on Rice Krispies as a breakfast cereal they won't say no to Rice Krispies treats! £2.00p at Sainsbury's.

Kellogg's Corn Flakes Seasons Greetings Box: Finally, a very retro looking box for Kellogg's Corn Flakes with a jolly laughing Santa and plain white background. If you spot any other festive Kellogg's boxes then let me know via the details below - thanks! £2.00p at Sainsbury's.

Müller Corner American Classic Raspberry Cheesecake Brownie Yogurt: This latest limited edition yogurt was spotted by Lucy W. in Tesco. Many thanks for the photo Lucy! It's described as a cheesecake flavour yogurt with a raspberry layer and chocolate brownie pieces. £0.68p at Tesco.

Boots Delicious Cranberry, Orange & Belgian White Chocolate Popcorn: Thanks also to Luci J. for this new find and photo. This combination of cranberry, orange and white chocolate is a really unique and interesting one. Luci said that it was really delicious and a great flavour for popcorn lovers. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for these next time I'm in Boots! £0.70p at Boots.

Thanks again to Lucy W. and Luci J. If you've spotted any new products instore then I'd love to hear from you - email grocerygems@gmail.com or tweet me @grocerygems.

Review: Müller Kids Corner Merry Crunchmas Yogurts

The latest limited edition from Müller is this Christmas themed Kids Corner Merry Chrunchmas. It's the usual combination of fun seasonal cereal shapes with a separate serving of vanilla flavour yogurt.

The Müller Kids Corner Merry Chrunchmas yogurts come in packs of four. They're described as mini crunchy reindeer and red baubles with vanilla flavour yogurt.

I haven't actually tasted these yogurts myself but my kids tell me that they taste the same as the previous Müller Kids Corner limited editions (such as the recent Halloween yogurts). They both really liked the crunchy cereal shapes and the sweet vanilla yogurt. The reindeer shapes and red balls look very fun and festive too!

New Instore: Goodfella's Chocolate Brownie Pizza & More!

Goodfella's Sweet Fella's Chocolate Brownie Dessert Pizza: A dessert pizza made with a sweet and crispy base and topped with chocolate sauce, milk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and crumbled brownie pieces. I really regret not buying this! £3.00p at Tesco.

Kellogg's Corn Flakes with Real Mango: My local Tesco Extra had these imported mango flavoured Kellogg's Corn Flakes in their Diwali celebration section. £2.00p at Tesco.

Minions Stack Chips: I spotted these in a discount store called Bargain Buys but I'm not sure if they're available anywhere else. They're Pringles-type stacked crisps in three flavours; Hot & Spicy, Sea Salt or Sour Cream. £1.00p at Bargain Buys.

Almond Dream Mint Chocolate Chip: A big thank you to Lucy W. for sending me the rest of the photos. I really want to try the Almond Dream non-dairy ice creams. I believe that there are also Salted Caramel and Praline Crunch flavours at Waitrose. If you spot them please let us know in the comments below. £4.99p at Asda.

Naughty But Rice Coconut & Raspberry: These pots look really fun! Lucy described the pot  as having a really funky design - check out their website for a closer look. Spotted at Asda.

Asda Free From Christmas Cake Cookies: These are free from gluten and wheat and are described as a scrummy twist on a classic festive pud. £1.30p at Asda.

Mr Kipling Salted Caramel Whirls: This is part of a new range of 'Deluxe Whirls' from Mr. Kipling. There is also a Belgian Chocolate variety. £1.00p at Asda.

Müller Corner Italian Dream Sicilian Lemon: This is a very sunshiney and summery looking new yogurt from Müller. It's a portion of original yogurt with a side serving of smooth lemon sauce. £0.68p at Asda.

A big thank you again to Lucy W. for the photos. If you've spotted any new products instore then I'd love to hear from you - email grocerygems@gmail.com or tweet me @grocerygems. Thank you!

Review: Müller Kids Corner Halloween Yogurt

I started writing a review for the latest limited edition Müller Kids Corner (a Christmas edition) and soon realised that I hadn't posted the Halloween version yet. So apologies for this out of date review! It's more for reference at this point, although I saw that these Halloween yogurts are still for sale in my local Tesco today.

As with the previous Müller Kids Corner limited editions, there is no new flavours here. It's the usual combination of white chocolate covered cereal pieces with a vanilla flavour yogurt. The only difference is the seasonal packaging and the shapes of the cereal pieces.

I won't go into the flavours here as I've covered that in my previous Müller Kids Corner Yogurt reviews. The 'crunchy pumpkin' are really just round orange-coloured cereal balls. I was expecting them to be a bit more pumpkin shaped but the overall effect is still fun.

Check back later today for a review of the Müller Kids Corner Christmas limited edition!

New Instore: Müller Light Apple Strudel Yogurt & Müller Rice Maple Syrup

Many thanks to Richard W for sending me photos of these fab new flavours from Müller.

Müller Light Apple Strudel Flavour Yogurt: I believe this is the latest limited edition from Müller Light. It sounds like a lovely autumnal flavour for a yogurt. I'm really looking forward to giving this one a try! £0.70p at Salisbury's (on offer for 6 for £3.00p).

Müller Rice Maple Flavour Syrup: This limited edition flavour sounds gorgeous too. I like the idea of the creamy rice with a maple flavoured syrup. £0.70p at Salisbury's (also on offer for 6 for £3.00p).

Review: Müller Light Coffee Shop Inspired Skinny Latte & Skinny Cappuccino Yogurts

The Müller Light Coffee Shop inspired multipack features two Limited Edition yogurt flavours; Skinny Cappuccino and Skinny Latte.

The Müller Light Skinny Cappuccino with Dark Chocolate Sprinkles was previously released as a limited edition last year, whilst the Skinny Latte is a completely new flavour.

Müller Light Skinny Latte: This one is a a completely smooth yogurt with a lovely sweet flavour. The coffee here really does remind me of a skinny latte drink, it has a mild coffee flavour with a creamy edge. It's a really tasty flavour for a yogurt and one that I especially enjoyed as a mid-morning pick me up.

Müller Light Skinny Cappuccino: The Skinny Cappuccino yogurt has added chocolate sprinkles, which provide an extra pop of flavour. I loved the initial coffee kick here with the smoother finish of the dark chocolate. It's a great combination and means this yogurt tastes more like a dessert. I didn't get to try the Skinny Cappuccino when it was released last year but I can see why it's been so popular.

New Instore: Mr. Kipling Tiger Slices, Müller Light Yogurts & More!

Mr Kipling Tiger Slices: Another day, another new Mr. Kipling cake. These new chocolate and orange flavoured slices have a gorgeous tiger stripe pattern and look grrreeeat! I'll have  review up soon. £1.50p at Asda.

Müller Light Coffee Shop Inspired Yogurts: The much missed Müller Light Skinny Cappuccino is back in a slightly new format along with another coffee flavoured yogurt - the new Skinny Latte. These yogurts are very popular with Slimming World followers and I'm sure they'll be flying off the shelves. £2.00p at Asda.

Müller Light Inspired by Florida: Thank you to Richard W. who spotted the new Muller Light Florida Key Lime Pie yogurts in Morrisons. It follows previous yogurts in this around the world range, such as the Müller Inspired by Bali and the Müller Light Inspired by Barbados. I like the idea of a Key Lime Pie flavoured yogurt and I'll be giving this one a try soon. £0.68p each at Morrisons.

Chicago Town The Pizza Melt: I've mentioned these before but this is the first time I've spotted it instore. The question is, is it a pizza or is it a burger? £1.25p at Asda.

Weetabix Protein Crunch Chocolate: Protein seems to be the new buzzword in the world of cereals. I know this Weetabix Protein Crunch has been available for awhile but for some reason my locals supermarkets haven't stocked it. Available in two flavours - chocolate and an original version. £2.98p at Asda.

Kellogg's Disney Variety Pack: I love these new mini boxes of the Kellogg's Frozen and Kellogg's Star Wars cereal - they're just too cute! There are also new Kellogg's Disney Multi-Grain Biscuits in this Frozen and Star Wars range which I'll be reviewing soon. £2.49p at Asda.

Chupa Chups Monstrous: Apologies for the terrible photo. These Halloween themed 'eye-ball' lollipops looked more interesting than usual as they are all 'colour changing'. The front of the packaging says 'lick to change the eye colour'. £1.00p at Asda.

Haribo Minions Gone Batty: I've previously reviewed the original Haribo Minions and Haribo Tangy Minions and I've been trying to find the bagged versions of the latest Halloween edition - Haribo Minions Gone Batty. So far I've only seen them available in this large tub. If you spot the bags then please do let me know in the comments below. Thank you! £2.00p at Asda.
