  5. I love your blog! I also get excited trying out anything 'new' or 'limited edition' in supermarkets and it's great to read a second opinion! Plus, your reviews on international brands such as Ritter and Milka, have led me to Monster Sweets, meaning I can treat myself to some of the goodies I lived off, when I spent a year in Germany! A big thank you!

    1. Thank you so much for your comment LJ and you're very welcom! It's lovely to hear from a fellow "new" and "limited edition" devotee! If you ever spot anything you'd like me to review then do let me know.

And I love that you've lived in Germany and brought back happy memories of the goodies there. When I go abroad I always have to visit a local supermarket!

Monster Sweets is fab for Ritter and Milka, I'm always spotting new products on there that I need to try! :)

  6. Wow!

Just wanted to comment that I've recently discovered your fantastic website and I love it. It's also led me to look at other sites of this kind and add them to my "favourites" list but I still think yours is the best (and most active!).

Want to say a big Thank You for all the effort that must go into posting these great reviews. The pictures are fantastic (and very often mouth-watering!).

You've inspired me to go out there and try loads of new, yummy things!

Anyways, thanks again and know that you have a very appreciative audience that loves your work.

Oh, and hope you're enjoying the fantastic weather! It's the hottest day of the year tomorrow - make sure you keep all that lovely choccy nice and cool!!

    All the best,

    1. Hi Rich,

Thank you for such a wonderful comment. It genuinely means a lot to me to get such warm, positive feedback, and to know that you have been enjoying the reviews.

Do pop in and feel free to leave comments on reviews if you have time, it would be great to hear from you again. And do let me know if you spot anything you'd like me to try out :)

I hope you have a lovely (hot!) weekend too. It's time to crack open the tubs of ice cream!

      Best wishes,
      Katherine

    2. Thanks Katherine!

Sad to report that my stash of Milka that was kept in a usually lovely cool cupboard has not survived the heat today so I've had to eat it all before it turned into a chocolate bubbling liquid. The guys at work helped me polish them off but, even with their help, I'm now about 70% chocolate and feel a bit sick.

      Bah.

Oh well, I'll have to scour your reviews for ideas to replace my stock of goodies once the weather cools down a bit.

Thanks again and I look forward to joining in a bit with your future posts.

      Rich

  8. Sorry for the random comment, but did any of the chocolates you received from Oyatsu Cafe ever melt upon arrival?

Lovely blog you have there by the way!

    1. Hi there, thank you!

Regarding Oyatsu Cafe I've never experienced any problems with melted chocolates or any damaged products. Has this happened to you?

    2. That's good to hear!
It hasn't happened to me since I recently placed my first order from Oyatsu Cafe about a week ago. I ordered the Meltykiss chocolate and I'm just worried about it melting since the weather is pretty hot around here at this time.

I forgot to mention that I found out about Oyatsu Cafe through your blog so thank you for that! :)

    1. I received my order and unfortunately, the chocolate did melt due to the heat. :( It's not a problem since I can always pop it in the fridge before eating it.

  11. Hi! I always come here first to check reviews of products because I think your reviews are great!

Have you heard about the new Coca-Cola Life? I'd love to know your thoughts on it.

    1. Hi, thanks so much!

I just bought some Coke Life yesterday and I'll have a review up soon. I've been away for a few weeks so I'm a bit delayed with some of the newest releases.

I always appreciate news of any new products so feel free let me know if you spot any interesting releases in the future :)

  12. Hey Katherine! I came across a new Lucozade flavour yesterday. Grafruitti! I've tried it. Wondered what you might think of it if you can find it? :)

    1. Hi Emily Ann,

I hadn't heard about this one - thanks so much for letting me know! I'll see if I can track it down tomorrow and hopefully have a review soon. Did you enjoy it? :)

    2. Sorry I'm only just getting back to you Katherine! Yes I really like it. It's a new fave for me. At first I thought it tasted a little bubblegummy but after a few more swigs, I think it tastes a little cough syrupy, but I like that kind of taste :)

    3. Not sure if you will see this but I just thought I would update - I still can't find this drink!! It's strange because my local newsagent usually has the latest Lucozade and they tend to be easy to find anyway. I'll keep looking though!

  13. Hiya! Long time reader first time caller :) I noticed a bar of Reese's pb chocolate in the supermarket recently (Tesco, near the Cadbury's, not an international import), have you tried it? I know that you love Reese's, and I was really tempted, but at £3 a bar it's an expensive gamble!

Oh my wow - tried these on the off chance they'd be nice and they're spot on - admittedly I topped with bacon and maple syrup which made it even better but definitely worth a try :)
