Tesco Finest Roast Norfolk Turkey & Stuffing with Onion Gravy Crisps
Unfortunately these crisps did not quite live up to their abundant name. The texture of the individual crisps was mostly fine, they had a good crunch, similar to brands of handcooked crisps such as Kettle Crisps. However the quality was not maintained for all of the crisps. Some of them were quite overdone, with a dark brown colouring, whilst others were very small in size. The roast turkey flavour is quite tasty but the "stuffing and onion gravy" is non existant. There should have been a lot of layered flavours going on in these crisps but instead they are simply a nice roast turkey crisp. The lack of herby flavouring was disappointing. The overall flavour is quite simple, almost bland, and they don't have that extra special edge.
Also available in the range are Tesco Finest Christmas Stilton, Onion and Thyme Crisps and these Tesco Finest Christmas Pudding and Brandy Butter Crisps. Now who's brave enough to give these a try?
The 150g bags cost £1.39 each but are also available as part of a 3 for £3 offer.
