Kelloggs Froot Loops Limited Edition UK release

I've just seen on Kellogg's  Facebook page that they are releasing Froot Loops in the UK for a limited time. Froot Loops are usually a US only cereal so I am super excited to hear this news. They should be available at Waitrose, Asda, and Tesco from now until August. I can't wait to get my hands on a box of these! Let me know if you spot them anywhere!

UPDATED: I found a box! Please read my review here!

    1. I agree they taste and look very different. It's good news for UK parents but not such good news for US cereal fans.

  8. What a masive excitement to find UK brand Froot Loops and what a huge dissapointment in the tase department. These are NOT Froot Loops by any stretch of the imagination. My kids are really dissapointed as we regularly get my parents to send us froot loops from the states and they love them. After bying a box last night my kids said to me "Mom, they dont taste righ! are they out of date?" Kellogs have obviously released the cereal due to consumer demand but have failed in delivering the right product. A funny tasting cereal in the same packaging just doesnt cut it!

    1. Hi there, thanks so much for your comment. Your kids must have been so disappointed! I was very excited too when the UK Froot Loops were released as the UK is seriously lacking in interesting cereals!

I think in hindsight Kelloggs UK should have released these under a different name as they are not similar enough in ingredients or taste to the original Froot Loops.

I'm so jealous that you get sent boxes direct from the US, I hope your parents send you all a real box of Froot Loops soon! :)

Can you recommend any other US cereals for kids?

  9. I hope all disappointed REAL Froot Loops fans message kellogg's UK to tell them! It's the only way we have a chance of getting a cereal remotely similar to the real cereal we love here in the UK!

I messages them yesterday with my disappointment, they don't even smell of anything and the smell of really Froot Loops is just amazing!! There are only 3 pale colours in the UK version and they are tasteless. I even suggested (as did someone above) that kellogg's maybe should have called this something other than Froot Loops as they are in no way similar. Email Kellogg's people!! Power in numbers! :)

  14. Don't waste your money they are vile, and taste nothing like Fruit Loops should. I don't eat this cereal for health, if I wanted health I would eat a bowl of broccoli for breakfast. I want this because I miss things from home. They can't make the cereal the same because of some stupid EU laws. Please...
